Evanston

Located in northwest Calgary, Evanston is a young community that was initiated in 2003. Evanston was designed as a “prairie-values” environment and atmosphere where neighbourliness can flourish. At every turn, you will discover community planning and architecture conspiring to bring people together, rather than keep them apart.

There are several natural grass lands and parks situated throughout the community. You will note that there are fewer fences and more open spaces, back lanes and verandas - meant more opportunities for conversation and connection. It is northwest of the communities of Hidden Valley/Hanson Ranch and North of Kincora.
