Evanston
Located in northwest Calgary, Evanston is a young community that was initiated in 2003. Evanston was designed as a “prairie-values” environment and atmosphere where neighbourliness can flourish. At every turn, you will discover community planning and architecture conspiring to bring people together, rather than keep them apart.
There are several natural grass lands and parks situated throughout the community. You will note that there are fewer fences and more open spaces, back lanes and verandas - meant more opportunities for conversation and connection. It’s also located close to Nose Hill Park and borders onto Stoney Trail, that provides quick access to the Calgary International Airport. It is northwest of the communities of Hidden Valley/Hanson Ranch and North of Kincora.
Evanston has two seniors’ residents and a walkable town retail centre. A full range of amenities are immediately available for this community. All in all, it is an excellent place to call home!
